"Christina,

When our son was about 18 months old he didn't have any words at all and would sometimes get stuck in self stimulating tendencies. At that time our older daughter was already in an EI Program and through that experience we asked to have our son evaluated as well. He started receiving services through EI soon there after and began making some progress in behavior and communication. After working with him for a few months the EI therapists recommended he have a physiological evaluation. He was diagnosed as being in the Autistic Spectrum. My wife and I were devastated! Our son had ok eye contact and apart from a gasping sound and twitching of his hands when he got excited we thought he only needed a little help to get him started in communicating as was the case with his older sister. At that point our son began an ABA program and more therapists were brought into his life, one of them was Ralph.

Ralph spearheaded our son's ABA program and personally ran sessions with him and handled the family training portion of the program. He immediately immersed himself into our family and into our son's development. In the beginning he was not completely comfortable with all of the new techniques but Ralph kept coming up with creative ways to gain his trust and helped develop a sense of confidence in our son as he began to make progress. His work with my wife and family was as important to the process as was his work with our child. I think it's only natural to have a feeling of helplessness when realizing your little baby has issues and needs that you can't fulfill or love away. Ralph patiently gave us tools to work with our son that built our own confidence. Not only did he find certain skills that our child enjoyed doing and pushed him to excel but he made sure we understood how exceptional he was in those areas which gave us an idea of what our son is capable of and hope for his future.

After 8 months with Ralph and the ABA team our son is spontaneously communicating verbally using vocabulary that is steadily increasing. He has started potty training and is more engaged with his siblings in appropriate ways. The difference in him is amazing. My wife and I are positive our son would not have achieved so much if not for the dedication and care of Ralph. We are so grateful to him for everything and would highly recommend him to any family in need of help."

"The Therapy Center for Children has been wonderful. I did some research online and found them. They called me the next day, went over everything with me, submitted my paperwork, followed up with me. I now have wonderful teachers for my daughter. Kim and Christina are wonderful people."

"Ever since my daughter started early intervention I have seen a tremendous positive change in her development. She’s very happy and playful. I’m also so delighted that she started walking at 2 years old. We are still working on her speech, although she can make her needs known. My daughter and her family are really blessed to have had and still have wonderful therapist to come in and aid her in her development. EI is a great program."

"All of the therapists have been wonderful to work with especially Diane Tortora and Krista Weingartner. With their help our children made great progress. Kim has always been there to make sure all of our children’s learning needs have been met and they received all the services available for them. We also have 3 more teachers for my son: Ralph, Angela and Charlene, they do an excellent job with him. Thank you for doing a fantastic job!"

"Our experience with Kelly working with my grand daughter has been wonderful. She has come a long way because of it."

"Hello Kim and Christina,
I just wanted to let you know that I could not be more pleased with Diane. She is so good for my son and I really appreciate the time she takes to talk to me about the therapy and strategies, etc. He loves her bag of goodies and she is very patient with him. I could not be more appreciative or happier! She is a perfect match for him and I am so glad that she was able to work it into her schedule to see him. My children are my life. I had to stop Diane as I was admiring him because I am so amazed with my three healthy children and blessed to have them that sometimes it surprises me because I just have to sit and take in the moment because they are so precious. So many times we just move in our day and do not cherish that moment. Have a great night!"
